The Assessment of Platelet Indices Levels in Patients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Background: The prevalence of anxiety disorders is increasing in the world. Studies revealed that generalized disorder may lead to change platelet size, volume and functions. Thus, changes indices increase future risk thrombotic diseases patients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Aim: To evaluate (total count platelet, mean volume, distribution width, plateletcrit) levels disorder. Material Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed Department Physiology, Dhaka Medical College, from July 2019 June 2020. After obtaining ethical clearance, a total 144 individuals were selected based on inclusion exclusion criteria ages ranging 18 - 50 years.
